Proposed Actions for Schools

  • Plan a campaign raising awareness on the impact of Climate Change and empathy with the support of educational materials available below. Raising awareness campaign should include fundraising activity for schools in The Bahamas.

  • Implement the campaign led by students.

  • Organise a Global Action Day 2020 that will focus on Climate Change Risk Reduction and Resilience Education.

  • Share stories from actions taken in the school - short case study with picture. Stories can present different aspects of activities e.g. planning actions, activities conducted or final results of the campaign.

  • YRE students can organise a media campaign raising awareness on climate change impact and report on activities organised in school in relation to support schools in The Bahamas.

In some cases, direct collaborations with students and schools from The Bahamas might be possible.

Useful educational materials for running a campaign in the schools are available here
